To avoid driving the dirt road between Mont-St-Michel and Clova, it is also possible to get on board one of our floatplanes from the paved road at one of our two secondary seaplane base in La Tuque or Baskatong Reservoir, and be flown directly to your cabin without stopping at our main base.
Our secondary seaplane base in La Tuque goes under the name Air Helibec www.airhelibec.com and is located on St-Maurice river, one mile north of town. On route 155 north, just outside La Tuque by the north, turn left towards route 10, route 25 or Fitzpatrick. The seaplane base will be located to your left at about ½ mile.
Getting to our secondary floatplane base on Baskatong Reservoir is easy. North of Mont-Laurier and Maniwaki, on route 117, turn north on "Chemin du Réservoir Baskatong" (you will find a "Axep" convenience store on that corner) in Grand-Remous. "Chez Rainville" outfitters is 15 miles up that road.
